The Wishing Shelf Book Awards Finalists of 2020

I entered my book, British English for Americans, in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards for 2020. Unfortunately, it did not make the finalist list. The Wishing Shelf Book Awards ended up a great experience anyway. My book still got a good review from the Wishing Shelf Book Awards in Amazon.co.uk (although the review did not transfer over to the American version of Amazon). The book received good reviews from Wishing Shelf in Goodreads and Bookbub.com .

I highly recommend that any independent author consider entering the 2021 Wishing Shelf Book Awards. This book award program is run well and it treats its author entrants well. Anyone who takes the time to write a book deserves praise for accomplishing something worthy!

The books listed as finalists are listed into six categories: pre-school picture books, books for 6 – 8 year olds, books for 9 – 12 year olds, books for teenagers, books for adults (fiction), books for adults (non-fiction). A special category is the Red Ribbon Bands. These are books that did not get high enough marks to become finalists, yet were liked by those who read the books for the contest.

Read for yourself the full list of book titles in this link Finalists 2020 | The Wishing Shelf Book Awards (thewsa.co.uk) . All the book covers and links to more information about the books is in this link. I found it quite interesting.
